Glade Foods respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect on www.gladefoods.com, why we collect it, and how we protect it. It is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, mobile number, delivery address, PIN code and (optionally) email address when you register, place an order, ask to be notified, or send an enquiry.
Order information: products ordered, amounts, payment status and order history.
Payment information: payments are processed by our payment partner. We receive only the payment status and a transaction reference. We never receive or store your card number, CVV, net-banking password or UPI PIN.
Usage information: pages visited, buttons clicked, device type, browser, approximate source of visit (for example, a search engine or an advertisement), and IP address. This is collected with first-party cookies and similar technology to improve the website.

2. How we use your information

To verify your mobile number by OTP and keep your account secure.
To process, pack, ship and deliver your orders and to contact you about them.
To provide customer support and handle cancellations, refunds and complaints.
To send you information about offers, only if you have asked for it. You can opt out at any time.
To understand how visitors use the website and to improve our products and services.
To prevent fraud and to comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing of information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share only what is necessary with:

Courier and logistics partners, to deliver your order (name, phone, address).
Our payment partner, to process your payment.
Our SMS provider, to send OTPs and order messages.
Government or law-enforcement authorities, when required by law.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep your cart and login working, and first-party analytics cookies to understand website usage. If we enable third-party tools such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel, they may set their own cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but some features (such as the cart) may not work.

We use HTTPS encryption, OTP-based login and restricted admin access to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

6. Data retention

We keep order and invoice records for as long as required by tax and accounting laws. Other personal data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent for marketing messages, by writing to care@gladefoods.com. We will respond within a reasonable time as required by law.

8. Children

Our website is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
